AutoPot systems are self-irrigating systems for cost-effective and energy-effective cultivation. Because of the smart AQUAvalve5, the plants get the exact amount of water they need without any timers, pumps or electricity.

The AutoPot XXL system uses fabric pots, which create unrivalled conditions for root development and plant health. Roots don't circle in fabric pots because of the effect known as "air pruning" - when the root hits the edge of the fabric pot, it grows through and stops growing after reaching the air. The plant is stimulated to create a new root and eventually fill up the entire space of the pot with healthy, fibrous white roots.

The AQUAvalve5, 9mm pipe and fittings in this pack allow the grower to use any kind of fertiliser and additive - mineral or organic - without worrying about blockage in the pipes. Simply add the feed directly to the tank, and the system will take care of the rest.

The AQUAvalve is a patented fitting for responsive, power-free, plant-controlled irrigation and feeding. It has a large inlet to let the nutrient solution through ultra-fast to maximise efficiency.

The package also contains the AutoPot fabric FlexiPot 50L and the root control PotSock. The porous, BPA-free, lead-free FlexiPot improves gas exchange in the substrate. Plant roots breathe freely in the pot - increased oxygen levels in the root zone supercharge growth.

If desired, the extremely durable and reusable fabric FlexiPot can be cleaned between uses. Once it's empty, let it dry and clean it with a brush a few days later. Removing the dust and small roots this way is perfectly sufficient, but it's possible to sterilise it using peroxide.
