The new 250W GIB Lighting Flower Spectrum XTreme Output bulb is a high-performance, german-made high-pressure sodium lamp with a maximised output of red light. It's been developed strictly for growing vegetables and other plants using artificial lighting.
In the flowering phase, plants need primarily red and yellow light, which is why this bulb emits only a small portion of blue light.
The luminous flux of the bulb is 33 000 lm, and its lifespan is 12 000 hours.
