The 250W bulb is a high-performance, german-made high-pressure sodium lamp with a maximised output of red light. It's been developed strictly for growing vegetables and other plants using artificial lighting.
In the flowering phase, plants need primarily red and yellow light, which is why this bulb emits only a small portion of blue light. This bulb helps the flowers to create potent and compact flowers.
