Product detailed description

The organic peat-free growing medium Biobizz Light-Mix® Peat Free provides the ideal basis for promoting vigorous root development and growth of seedlings, young plants or cuttings. The light airy, almost nutrient-free, vegan quality substrate is suitable for indoor and outdoor growing.

Light-Mix® Peat Free is designed to provide gardeners, growers and horticultural professionals with an eco-friendly alternative to traditional peat-based substrates while giving you control over your plants. Peat Free substrate with perlite develops vital micro-activity as water interacts with the soil to create organic catalysts that rapidly develop root structures. The roots thus have access to air and water, which is essential for strong plant growth. It also allows growers to conduct a more individual growing cycle.

100% Organic and Vegan Biobizz Light-Mix Peat Free Substrate
Composed entirely of renewable and sustainable materials, the blend includes ingredients such as coir, wood fibre, composted bark, miscanthus, perlite and other organic materials. The sustainable growing medium ingredients mimic the beneficial properties of peat such as lightness, aeration and water retention. The light and airy nature of this substrate also promotes excellent drainage, reducing the risk of waterlogging and root rot, which is particularly beneficial for seedlings and young plants.

How to use Light-Mix® Peat Free?
When growing plants with Light-Mix® Peat Free, you can apply larger doses of nutrients to any type of plant, including heavily fed plants, without the risk of overloading the soil and burning the nutrients. With automatic watering, it is important that the water penetrates the substrate properly, otherwise it can become too wet and cause mould.
