It should be said that even the most modern and expensive pH or EC meter on the market, if not calibrated and carefully maintained at regular intervals, will not be able to provide a consistently accurate measurement. Without cleaning and calibration solutions, you would shorten the lifetime of the measuring equipment and, more importantly, get biased results leading ultimately to plant damage.
