The CAN-Lite odour filters are a lightweight line of filters by CAN Filters, a brand specialising in removing unpleasant odours from the air using activated charcoal. The defining characteristic of these filters is their low weight, caused by the special lightweight charcoal (1l of the activated carbon weighs 260g) and their compact size. 

The CAN-Lite odour filters are filled with a special lightweight carbon. The high density of the used carbon guarantees standard adsorption and perfect air filtration. The grain size and high porosity of the activated carbon allow the air to flow evenly through the filter and absorb more than 99% of unwanted odours.

The main advantage of the CAN-Lite filters is their lower weight and price (when compared to the CAN-Original and CAN-Special lines).

The lifespan of the carbon filter filling is approximately 24 months, depending on the conditions. High humidity and dusty environments can lower the lifespan of the filter.

The CAN-Lite filters with lower capacity aren't supplied with a flange, which has to be bought separately. We recommend these: 100mm and 125mm.

The filter includes a dust pre-filter made from a special filtration fabric. We highly recommend vacuuming (or at least shanking out) the dust collected on the pre-filter.
