Canna Start

CANNA Start is a balanced one-component fertilizer that we have developed precisely for the needs of young seedlings and rooted cuttings. CANNA provides them with all the necessary nutrients in the optimum ratio to develop into a strong and healthy plant.

CANNA start is a fertilizer (not a root stimulator) and forms a perfect combination with CANNA RHIZOTONIC root stimulator. With the inclusion of CANNA Start in the range, we offer a complete growing programme from start to harvest.

Reduces the risk of overfertilization
Cuttings and seedlings have different needs than adult plants. Therefore, conventional fertiliser for the vegetative phase is not ideal for cuttings and seedlings as you risk overfertilisation. CANNA Start eliminates this risk.

Reduces the risk of leaf yellowing
Diluting the growth fertiliser to a lower concentration to make it more suitable for cuttings and seedlings is not an option. Such a diluted solution does not contain enough trace (micro) elements. This causes deficiencies, which is definitely not a good basis for a great harvest. In order to eventually harvest strong and healthy plants, they must be vigorous right from the start. That is why CANNA has developed CANNA Start with the exact ratio of all nutritional elements for cuttings and seedlings.

For different growing media
CANNA Start is designed for use on a variety of propagation media such as rockwool cubes, coconut pellets, jiffy pellets, seeding media and most other media. Exceptions are recirculating systems and aeroponic cuttings.

CANNA Start is ideal for growers who:
- grow from seed
- root their own cuttings
- first pre-grow seedlings or cuttings in small pots

Complete 1-component fertilizer
CANNA Start is a complete one-component nutrition, which means it contains all the necessary elements in one bottle (no need for A and B versions).

It perfectly complements the popular CANNA fertilizers
CANNA Start fits perfectly with all other CANNA fertilisers. Once the cuttings are transplanted into the final medium, you switch from CANNA Start to the CANNA (Vega) nutrition suitable for the medium you are growing on (TERRA, COCO, HYDRO or AQUA).

How to use CANNA Start
- shake the bottle before use
- dosage 1:250 (4 ml/1L)
- EC of CANNA Start dissolved in water is between 0.7 - 1.3 mS (= EC of solution + EC of water)
- recommended pH: 5.2 - 6.2

Storage, safety and other information:
- store in a sealed container in a dark place and protect from frost
- keep out of reach of children
- the bottle is made of polyethylene (contains no PVC or cadmium) and is recyclable
- if the solution comes into contact with skin or eyes, rinse with water
- overfertilization has a negative effect on the growing medium and plant health
