The Bio Terra Plus by Canna is a fully organic substrate suitable for organic, eco-friendly farming. It consists of the best available peat, crushed bark and coco coir. The substrate is also enriched by bat guano, earthworm casting, bonemeal and other highly nutritional natural components.

The peat in this mix is of the highest quality available from several worldwide locations. Compared to other products, its fibres are longer, making the substrate light and aerated, which is incredibly beneficial to the root system and overall plant health.

Low-quality bark can bring unwanted fungi into the substrate, from which plants can contract diseases. The crushed bark in this mix has antifungal properties and completely eliminates the problem.

Bio Terra Plus contains coco coir - CANNA COCO. 

The whole substrate contains certified organic fertiliser and soil bacteria. A healthy soil life lowers the risk of diseases and improves the release and absorption of nutrients, making the whole plant prosper from the roots up.

Bio Terra Plus releases nutrients automatically according to the needs of the plants. If you add too much fertiliser and the plants aren't able to absorb it, the substrate absorbs it and stores it for lean days. On the other hand, if you forget to fertilise the plants for a while, the substrate releases these nutrients to keep the plants happy. The regulation doesn't depend on the amount of moisture but on the surrounding temperature.
