The Agra-Wool grow cube is a 100% natural product made of Earthwool. Earthwool is made of basalt fibres and bound with a binder made from plant-based raw materials (Ecose). The binder doesn't contain any formaldehyde or acetylates. The resulting material is more eco-friendly (the manufacturing process consumes less energy and doesn't use petrochemicals) and user-friendly (the material doesn't irritate the skin) than other rock wools.

It's harder for bacteria and fungi to thrive in this medium, so it's ideal for rooting. Earthwool has stable EC and pH values - they're ideal for hydroponics because they don't have any effect on the solution.

The Agra-Wool cubes don't need buffering before use.
