The new CMH (ceramic metal halide) technology provides a rich light that is close to the spectrum of sunlight. It is used in many fields of human activity, including agriculture and cultivation. The biggest advantage is the low consumption combined with low power and up to 20% higher light efficiency than conventional MH lamps. The SunPro Super DayLight 315W CMH provides a light output of 31,000 lm, a chromaticity temperature of 4,000K, and a PAR value of 524 micromoles/s. Note, a special socket and electronic ballast are required for operation, ideally in a Complete Fixture installation.
