CO2 Generator MOTHER NATURE

The Mother Nature CO2 generator is a unique product used to increase the concentration of CO2 in growing rooms.

The concentration of CO2 in the air is usually 412 ppm. Mother Nature can very quickly double the concentration to at least 800 ppm. It produces CO2 using different bacteria and specially treated manure. The bacteria in the manure are the most active and create the highest amounts of CO2 at 22°C. If you're not currently using it, the ideal temperature for storing Mother Nature is 15°C.

Plants don't need CO2 at night, and we recommend turning Mother Nature off for that time. You can use a timer to turn the air pump off automatically. When it's off, the bacteria will start working to prepare a fresh, high dose of CO2 for the morning.

We sell Mother Nature in two options: 

- 5 L for grow tents up to 120x120 cm
- 10 L for grow tents up to 120x240 cm

Both options are sold without an air pump, which can be purchased separately. We recommend an air pump with an airflow of 1,3-1,6 l/min. The manufacturer namely recommends this product: Heilea ACO-2201 Air Pump.

Instructions:

Option 1: Connect the air pump to the bottom pipe of the Mother Nature bucket, and connect the pump to a timer, which turns it on only when the lights are also on. Attach the upper pipe of the Mother Nature bucket to the back of a circulation fan to distribute the CO2 evenly.

Option 2: Connect the air pump to the bottom pipe of the Mother Nature bucket, and connect the pump to a timer, which turns it on only when the lights are on as well. Set the timer to turn the pump on for 15 minutes and then turn it off for 60 minutes. Repeat this cycle for the entire time the lights are on to get very high CO2 concentrations. Make sure to turn the pump off every night.

Option 3 (experienced users):  Connect the air pump to the bottom pipe of the Mother Nature bucket, and connect the pump to a timer, which turns it on only when the lights are on as well. Connect the timer and pump to a CO2 sensor and set it to turn the pump on only when the CO2 level drops below your specified value. We recommend setting the sensor to activate the timer when the value drops below 650 ppm.

NOTE: If you use exhaust in your growing room, we recommend option no. 2. If you can set the exhaust to work in intervals, all options will work well.

Always use only one air pump with the Mother Nature CO2 Generator. The maximum airflow of this pump should be 1,6l/min. Never use an air pump with a higher airflow!

Please note that high concentrations of CO2 are harmful to humans and shouldn't be inhaled for extended periods.
