Ecotechnics Evolution CO2 Controller

Basic kit for monitoring and controlling the optimum carbon dioxide level in the grow room. The digital control unit, the EcoTechnics Evolution CO2 controller, is equipped with an advanced microprocessor and a probe with infrared sensor for day and night detection. This improved dispenser not only handles the discharge of CO2 at different intensities, but also takes care of the operation of the exhaust or extract fan.

CO2 monitor and controller EcoTechnics Evolution is compatible with CO2 cylinders and propane or butane burning equipment. The widely programmable controller works with most external controllers, thermostats and hygrostats. This allows you to provide herbs with the perfect conditions for strong growth, fragrant flowers and large fruit.

The package consists only of the controller with a clear display. The basic kit does not include a CO2 bottle, valve with status indicator or probe.

Why is CO2 important for plants?
When growing outdoors, plants have unlimited access to carbon dioxide. However, in indoor conditions, CO2 can easily be consumed and the herbs will lack it.

Carbon dioxide is essential for optimal photosynthesis. Plants with a deficiency of CO2 in their surroundings are weaker, smaller and can have various problems. Sufficient CO2 will contribute to their overall health, faster growth and earlier flowering. Leaves will be larger and greener.

The natural size, colour, flavour and aroma of the flowers or fruit will be enhanced. Higher carbon dioxide intake will increase water and nutrient consumption, and herbs will need more light. If we want to grow with higher light densities, we need to artificially increase the CO2 level.

Carbon dioxide is heavier than air, so it will stick naturally to the ground. We recommend using circulation or floor fans to properly disperse the CO2 throughout the space.
