GL05 - UV-C Germicidal Lamp, 75W (G13) is a linear double-ended low-pressure germicidal lamp fixture. Bactericidal shortwave UV light is used for sterilising air, liquids and surfaces. The GL05 is a complete fixture with a lamp, which reliably sterilises and disinfects a space up to 56m³ and about half the area if you need to use it in an operating room. Its main advantage is the low operating cost compared to the output and effectiveness. 

Shortwave UV radiation is used to sterilise air, liquids and surfaces. Germicidal UV light damages or entirely destroys the RNA and DNA of the microorganisms, preventing them from reproducing. The light also damages the structure of proteins, enzymes, macromolecules and biopolymers in the microorganisms. As a result, they either die or can't reproduce. 

The light removes 90% of all bacteria, protozoa, viruses and fungi (like bacillus, streptococcus, algae, paramoeciums, fungal spores and yeast). We recommend running the lamp for 2-8hours or 15-20minutes for temporary disinfection.

The germicidal lamp doesn't create any chemicals or toxic by-products. The filtration glass reduces ozone formation at 182nm wavelength and the degradation of useful UV-C radiation.
