UV-C germicidal fluorescent lamp linear 25W (T8, length 437mm) GV04 - replacement germicidal tube (low pressure mercury lamp). Bacteriocidal short-wave ultraviolet radiation is used to effectively sterilize air, liquids and surfaces of objects. Water and other liquids are semi-permeable.

Solid bodies absorb radiation at the surface layer.

Sterilizing radiation emits high intensity UV radiation that reliably destroys the vast majority of bacteria, viruses, spores, fungi, microorganisms or yeasts, algae, trephines, protozoa ... The rays are absorbed by concretions and nucleic acids and DNA is permanently damaged or destroyed. The filter glass limits the formation of 185nm wavelength ozone and the inner coating limits the degradation of useful UV-C radiation.
