Included with the Lumatek Aurora 315W, 3100K digital CMH set is an electronic ballast that has the ability to be remotely controlled via the Lumatek digital control panel (sold separately) and is dimmable. When used with the controller, the Aurora can be programmed with on/off times, simulated sunrise/sunset with timed fading or intensification of light.

The reliable 315W CMH Aurora digital ballast has been successfully used in grow facilities around the world and uses rectangular wave technology to efficiently light and operate 315W CMH lamps. For safety, this ballast uses full circuit protection including interrupt/short circuit, overheat, overvoltage/low voltage, end of lamp life/rectification and EMI suppression. The ballast has an LED indicator and is dimmable for optimum control.

The CMH 315W Aurora Pulse Starter Lamp has been designed for use with the Lumatek 315W CMH Electronic Ballast and is manufactured using high quality ceramic arc tube technology and a specific blend of horticultural gases to produce the optimum spectral output for healthy plant growth.

The CMH technology produces high energy, low heat levels of PAR/PPF at full spectrum that is closer to the sunlight, creating healthier plant growth and greater yield. With a CRI (Colour Rendering Index) >90%, CMH is ideal for growing high quality produce and extracting essential oils.

Aurora is supplied with a Lumatek 315-930 (3100K Agro) ceramic metal halide lamp.

The PCA ceramic arc tube allows the lamp to operate at higher temperatures, increasing color rendering, performance and efficiency. PCA resists interaction with chemicals inside the tube, stabilizing the chemical mixture over the life of the lamp, improving color consistency and maintaining PAR/PPF levels. Pulse-start technology allows for faster start and re-ignition times, longer lamp life and increased lumen maintenance.
