Multiflow V1 - 6 flowerpots, 250L tank

TheMultiflow system is available in many sizes from 6 to 48 growing containers with nutrient tanks from 250 to 350 litres and a choice of two timers.

The V1 model includes a proven and reliable 24 hour analogue timer. For young plants that need to be watered every 2 to 3 days, hand watering is necessary in the first few days until the plants have sufficiently rooted through the substrate. Thereafter, the 24 hour analogue timer V1 can be easily set according to the needs of the plants.
The Multiflow system is one of the most popular growing systems. Multiflow works on the principle of Ebb & Flood systems.

How does it work?
- From a large plastic barrel (250 l), nutrients are pumped by a pump into a small plastic barrel ( controller ) with a built-in analogue timer V1, which controls the pumps and determines the intervals and time of flooding the pots.
- From the controller, nutrients are distributed by gravity through pipes to the bottom of the pots, which are half-flooded, the substrate and plant roots can suck up nutrients at will.
- after a short time determined by the timer V1, a second pump in the controller is switched on, which sucks all the nutrients from the pots back into the large barrel. This allows the substrate and plant roots in the growing pots to dry out sufficiently and the whole watering cycle is repeated again according to the timer setting.

The Multiflow system is suitable for growing plants in expanded clay, coconut and soil mixes. For best results, the manufacturer recommends using expanded clay with coconut mixed 1:1 and coconut fertilizer.

The complete Multiflow V1 growing system includes:
1. Plastic water and nutrient barrel ( 250 l ) with pump.
2. 6 sets of growing containers ( 9 l ) for substrate and plants.
3. V1 timer controller ( the brain of the system ) with additional pump that controls the start and duration of flood cycles.
4. Pipes, couplings and connections.
