AQUAplate is an extension for AutoPot irrigation systems. It simply drops into the trays and allows you to use the system for hydroponic growing. Like all AutoPot products, it's easy to use and assemble. If anything breaks, AutoPot sells spare parts for almost everything.
The AQUAplate consists of a plate with holes which fit mesh pots. The plant catches onto the foam inside and grows just in the water, without a substrate - this means that the plant has constant access to the nutrient solution and grows more efficiently.
This small set is the perfect way to try out hydroponic growing - there are no pumps, timers or electricity, just simple gravity. Naturally, it's cheaper than more advanced and complicated systems. However, its simplicity and efficiency might be just the thing you need.
