General Hydroponics Euro AquaFarm is the first hydroponic "home unit":

These pots have several uses: in nurseries or indoor gardens for mother plants and collector plants, at home for decorative or culinary plants of all sizes, or in the kitchen for aromatic herbs that need to be fresh when cooking.

You can place them anywhere, in the living room, office, porch or greenhouse. WaterFarm systems technically differ from AquaFarm only in size and price.

The plants are grown in a chamber filled with clay balls. The growing chamber is suspended above a reservoir containing nutrient-enriched water. An air pump delivers the nutrient solution via a 'pump tube' to the drip ring, where the solution drips down through the clay balls. In this way, the nutrients are saturated with oxygen and are continuously supplied to the roots, stimulating the plant to unprecedented results.
