VAKPLAST VERTICAL HYDROPONIC SYSTEM - 5 WALL SMALL - 5SM

In this system there is no solid medium, the roots are placed directly into the water, which flows through the drainage system over the entire surface of each successive growing container, thus also oxygenating the plant and all this without access to light (eliminating the formation of algae).This design guarantees an even supply of nutrients to each plant in the system.This system allows an area of about 2.5 m² to manage an area of about 5 m². In theory it can be twice as efficient as horizontal systems, and as a rule of thumb yields are up to twice as high with the same lighting. It is also in the economical use of light in the middle of the pentagon, where the light illuminates a much larger area than in horizontal systems.

It is also characterized by its ease of maintenance, both in the simplicity of mixing the nutrient solution and its control, and by good access to the plants for maintenance, but also during harvesting. It also does not generate a lot of waste as in the case of systems using media (clay, rockwool, expanded clay...) which is a financial benefit at each harvest, but also a time benefit, as time is lost in disposing of this waste or cleaning the reusable material (expanded clay...). The only waste is the root system of the plants, which can be simply pulled out after opening the lid and can be recycled as compost. The growing containers can be easily removed and showered.
