VAKPLAST VERTICAL HYDROPONIC SYSTEM - TRIPLE WALL LARGE - 3SV

This system allows for a real area of approx. 2.25m² to be comfortably managed with an area of approx. 5.4m². Theoretically, it can be up to two and a half times more powerful than horizontal systems, and as a rule of thumb, yields are up to twice as high on it, with the same powerful sodium lighting. It is also economical in its use of light in the middle of the quadrangle, with each light illuminating more than twice the area of horizontal systems.
On the notional fourth, un-boxed side of the system, I recommend placing a removable reflective surface at a safe distance from the light source when using sodium lamps to increase the efficiency of the lamps.

This growing system is characterised by its ease of maintenance, both in terms of the simplicity of mixing the nutrient solution and its control, as well as good access to the plants for maintenance and harvesting. It also does not generate a lot of waste as in the case of systems using media (clay, rockwool, expanded clay...) which is a financial benefit at each harvest, but also a time benefit as there is no time to dispose of this waste or to clean the reusable material (expanded clay). The only waste is the root system of the plants, which can be simply pulled out after opening the lid and can be recycled as compost.
The growing containers can be easily removed and showered.
