Ozone is a triatomic form of oxygen. It is a very effective disinfectant and kills bacteria, viruses, insects, mould spores and aromatic substances. It can be used directly in the growing space between growing cycles. This is especially true if you have encountered an insect pest invasion or a mould attack on your drumsticks in the previous cycle and do not want to continue to bring these uninvited guests with you.
Be careful not to get too excited yourself, though, because ozone isn't very healthy for us either. The output of these devices is measured in grams of ozone produced per hour.
