The Milwaukee MW700 is a portable lux meter which measures illuminance using a waterproof probe.

The digital device for determining how much of the emitted light reaches a specific surface is useful for conscientious growers, aquarists, scientists, photographers and many more. A portable lux meter will help you find out which places in the grow tent aren't getting enough light. If a plant doesn't have enough light, it can't photosynthesize effectively and can suffer deficiencies which lead to slow growth and development. Using a portable lux meter is an efficient way of improving the lighting setup.
