This round metal acoustic silencer by VF is an extra light solution for those bothered by noisy ventilators. It fits a 100mm flange and is 300mm long.  

Some growers can be bothered by the noise an outtake ventilator makes - especially if they're growing exotic fruit or plants at home. A silencer installed near the ventilator can be a simple solution - it lowers the noise levels at the source. You can use two silencers if you have a very noisy ventilator or want an even quieter operation. 

 The silencer is lined with acoustic foam to absorb and scatter sound waves. The foam is laid in a spiral to keep the air rotating, increasing the silencer's efficiency. VF Silver has an aluminium casing and galvanised steel - it's light, sturdy and can last for many years. 

This model is intended for medium size growboxes.
