A solution for calibrating EC meters. It has a known EC value, and using it can detect inaccuracies in the readings of your EC meter.

After a while, even the best EC meters lose their accuracy. Using an inaccurate EC meter can negatively impact the quality of your nutrient solution and the health of the entire crop. If you're using an EC meter, you should use it right and calibrate it regularly with a calibration solution.

Calibration solutions are solutions with a known EC - so you can find out how accurate the meter is.

When calibrating an EC meter, pour a small sample of the solution into a clean container, test the meter and dispose of the used solution. Like this, the rest of the solution stays clean and doesn't get contaminated by particles on the meter.
