The Milwaukee Combo Starter Kit contains four 230ml bottles:
Milwaukee pH 7,01 calibrating solution
Milwaukee pH 4,01 calibrating solution
The kit contains everything you need to store, clean and properly calibrate your pH meter.
Calibration is necessary for every pH meter. Using two-point calibration (setting the meter according to two buffers) is the best way of making sure the meter remains accurate and functional.
Cleaning the electrode after every use prevents contamination and inaccurate measuring.
The electrode of the pH meter should never dry out - it might get damaged. Storage solutions keep the electrode's membrane wet and can significantly prolong its lifespan.
