The Milwaukee MW802 uses one electrode to measure acidity/alkalinity (pH), electrical conductivity (EC) and total dissolved solids (TDS) of a nutrient solution.

The pH level of the solution directly impacts the availability of nutrients, water absorption and the effectiveness of herbicides and pesticides. The EC and TDS values ​​determine how saturated the nutrient solution is and whether it contains the right amount of nutrients (fertilisers).

The main advantage of the Milwaukee MW802 is that it measures all three of these quantities simultaneously, displays them on a clear screen and uses a replaceable electrode on a 1m long cable. The external probe is protected with a special fiber to increase its lifespan and guarantee maximum reliability and accuracy. If the electrode breaks (which eventually happens to each one), it's easily replaceable - you don't need to buy a whole new device.

How to calibrate and maintain Milwaukee MW802:

Always read the user manual, which describes how to properly use, calibrate and clean the device. You can significantly increase the lifespan of the device by using high-quality buffers, storage and cleaning solutions. We recommend calibrating the device at least once a month. Use a sterile buffer for each calibration.

Protect the device from impacts and other mechanical damage. If it's not waterproof, keep it away from water, moisture and dust. The warranty on the probe is valid for 6 months from the date of sale! For other components, it's 24 months from the date of sale.
