The complete hydroponic system NFT Gro Tank is designed for effective growing of about 3 plants in inert substrates. It is compatible with most hydroponic fertilizers in our range. With dimensions of 69,5x29,5x19,5cm it fits comfortably into smaller growing tents such as Homebox, Probox, Secret Jardin etc. with a base of 80x80cm. Or do you put two in?
NFT stands for "Nutrient Film Technique".
A thin film of nutrient solution flows through the roots of your plants and provides them with all the elements they need.The only substrate used is one that helps the plants grow, the "bare root" technique.
In the Nutriculture NFT system, the nutrient solution is kept in a tank.
Your plants rest on a tray or "channel" above the tank and the nutrient solution is pumped up into the "channel" and flows over the roots of your plants.
Unused nutrient solution is returned to the tank where it is pumped back to the roots.
The constant supply of water and nutrients to the roots, together with an unlimited supply of oxygen, means that you can expect up to 4 times the yield of traditional soil cultivation.
