pH Meters
The pH value tells us if the solution is acidic or alkaline. We measure the pH value on a scale from 0-14. The exact middle (7) is neutral, anything below (0-6) is acidic, and solutions with results of more than 7 are alkaline (8-14).
The pH of soil and nutrient solution is important because plants absorb nutrients more effectively at some levels. As you know, the yields will never be as good as they could be without sufficient nutrition.
You can take your pick from classic tests with testing strips and sophisticated measuring devices.
