Calcium and Magnesium deficiencies are common, especially for growers who use coco substrates. Many growers also use water filtered by reverse osmosis that needs additives automatically.

Calcium is extremely important because it serves as a messenger in developmental and physiological processes. It's necessary for its structural role in cell walls and membranes. Calcium deficiency is indicated on the leaves by yellow-brown spots with brown edges. Magnesium is essential in photosynthesis because it's the basic building block of chlorophyll. Magnesium deficiency shows as rust-coloured or yellow spots on the leaves.

Shogun CalMag is a high-quality source of calcium and magnesium. It supports healthy growth, plant strength and chlorophyll production. It also contains chelated iron - a micronutrient that the plants often lack (especially in coco substrates and during the vegetative phase). Iron is not as important in chlorophyll as magnesium but it still can't be created without it. If you're dealing with a deficiency, CalMag is especially effective when used in the form of a foliar spray.

Use:
Root feed: - vegetative phase: supports root activity and increases plant vitality
                  - flowering phase: improves nutrient absorption and the effectiveness of the fertiliser
                  - use during the entire growing cycle and stop two weeks before harvest
                  - add 1ml /1l during the vegetative phase and 0-1ml / 1l during the flowering phase
Foliar feed: - add 10-15ml per 1l
                   - apply once a week

Shogun CalMag contains: NPK 2-0-0, 2% total nitrogen, 4,3% calcium oxide CaO, chelated iron 0,07%
