Terra Aquatica StreptoLogic

This new product replaces the well-known TrikoLogic S, a combination of a mycorrhizal fungus with supporting microorganisms. Streptologic, a supporting micro-organism, is now on the market to help produce phytohormones, help bind iron and support the root system.

Pythium, Fusarium, Verticillium and other bacterial and fungal pathogens can do irreparable damage in hydroponic systems, especially in hot weather when the warm air directly encourages the spread of fungi. Irreversible damage can be done from one day to the next. It is possible to find 'solutions' on the market, such as UV sterilisers and fungicides available in garden centres, but all these alternatives have their drawbacks: high costs, complexity of use, uncertain results, toxicity of fungicides to humans and the environment.

That is why there is StreptoLogic, which is easy to use and not expensive compared to other products. It does not require any biofilter because the bacteria attach directly to the roots. It is a biostimulator that uses natural resources to produce phytohormones, fix iron and stimulate the root ball. It also contributes to the plant's resistance to attack by fungi and pathogenic bacteria, which multiply at a high rate in hot weather. It should be used from the beginning of root development or before an expected heat wave, which can cause your plants to flood in summer. As the temperature rises, the amount of oxygen in the water decreases. Oxygen is very important for plants, and even more important in a hot environment. By using StreptoLogic preventively, you increase your tolerance to abiotic stress and the resulting quality and yield of your crops.

StreptoLogic is a natural, 100% biological protectant that is best used as a preventative. As with all aerobic microorganisms, the better the oxygen supply and the more stable the pH, temperature and humidity, the more effective and beneficial StreptoLogic is.

Uses:
- can also be applied as a preventative measure before hot weather arrives
- in hydroponics, coconut and soil - add 1g per 10l of water or nutrient solution and apply every 6 to 8 weeks
- in open soil - use 0.5kg per hectare with a maximum of 2 applications per year

StreptoLogic contains diatomaceous earth, which contains added silicon and forms deposits. For some capillary systems we recommend mixing with water and leaving the pump on for 24 hours, then replace the mixture and compost the sediment. Do not leave the mixture without oxygenation for more than 24 hours.
