This professional contactless thermometer can measure the temperature of surfaces and objects using infrared light. The infrared thermometer can't take the temperature of translucent materials like glass, clear plastic or air. 

An essential feature of the hand-held thermometer is the laser pointer, which pinpoints where you're taking the measurement. 

It measures temperatures ranging from -50° to 500°C, with an optical resolution of 12:1 and its emission level is 0,95. It displays the measured temperature either in  °C or °F. The thermometer turns off automatically when it's idle for a long time.

• The ratio of the measured area to the distance from the object is 12:1. For example, if you use the thermometer 30cm away from the object you want to measure, it scans an area with a 2,5cm diameter.
