MTS1 - digital thermostat for SAUNA

This digital thermostat is primarily designed to switch the sauna off or on according to the set value in °C and time. The thermostat is used for switching or controlling appliances depending on the temperature. The sauna can be controlled once, by means of a switching clock or by counting down the time (minute). Furthermore, you can adjust the intensity of the sauna lighting (incandescent, halogen), maximum load 900 W. The device regulates the fan speed (extraction/extraction of warm or cold air) according to the air temperature, maximum load 900 W. The menu offers a central switching to listen to stereo music. Signalling (optical) before the end of the set time.
Adjustable temperature 0 to 120 °C. Adjustable hysteresis 1 to 10 °C. Integrated main switch. The MTS1 is designed for loads (heating) up to 11,000 W.
The clear 2-line LCD display informs you simultaneously of temperature, time and output status. The processor constantly monitors inputs, outputs, sensor connections and, if necessary, signals an error visually and additionally acoustically. Settings backup. The temperature is sensed by a precise and reliable DALLAS digital sensor, the information is transmitted via a 5 m cable extension. The device can be mounted on the wall by means of hanging brackets (included). Long-term and faultless operation even under extreme conditions, over design.

Advantages:
Settings remembered even after power interruption, quick changes in settings and accurate measurement of all quantities, low consumption, continuous temperature without fluctuations, pleasant climate, less mechanical/thermal stress on mechanical parts, high protection of the instrument, communication with the sensor is via a safe voltage. An appliance that does not run does not consume any electricity.

Installation: the sensor on the cable can sense the temperature in a different room or air duct than the appliance is located. In the room, we recommend placing the sensor approx. 1.5 m above the ground in a place with good air circulation, do not place the sensor near heat emitters.

Hysteresis:
- temperature difference or inertia when the device switches on and off
- heating - e.g. if the hysteresis is 1 °C, the desired temperature is 20 °C, the thermostat switches off at 21 °C and switches on again at 20 °C
