The UGro Plug Rhiza is a small disc made from compressed peat and dehydrated coco coir wrapped in a thin paper sleeve. The substrate consists of small particles and has a low percentage of fibres. It's pH buffered and enriched with mycorhizal fungi that support root development and keep the substrate clean and aerated. Beneficial fungi also decrease the chance of bacterial and fungal infections.

Coco coir is a product manufactured by crushing and processing coconut shells. It's popular among growers because of its amazing water retention qualities and aeration. Coco coir is antibacterial, very clean and fully biodegradable.
