Phresh Filters are odour filters that use the highest quality activated carbon available on the planet as the internal cartridge. It is mined in Australia in deposits that are several million years old. It is characterised by minimal dust and a huge absorption capacity. Another huge advantage is their weight, which has gone down significantly due to the super quality of the activated carbon, which is really noticeable especially in high air flow filters. Of course, the filter includes a dust filter (firon), which can be easily removed or put on the filter body.
The manufacturer recommends that this dust filter be cleaned every 3 - 6 months, washed in lukewarm water and reattached to the filter body. A cool feature is the steel clamps that snap onto the flange. When the air hose is subsequently fitted, attaching it with a steel clip or tape becomes a simple matter. The hose does not slip and attachment is really a breeze. We must also mention that we can recycle the used charcoal, for example in the garden, as it is a very high quality soil enrichment agent.
Calculation to choose the right filter
Calculate the volume of air in a room by multiplying the length of the room (m) by the width of the room (m) and the height of the ceiling (m).
E.g.: A room 4 m long, 3 m wide and 2 m high => 4 x 3 x 2 = 24 m3
Multiply the resulting volume of air by 60 (i.e. the number of minutes per hour) to find the amount of air that needs to be purified in 1 hour.
Compare the result with the maximum output of the selected filter. If its max. performance is higher than our result, the filter is sufficient for the space.
