The TD-350 fan housing is made of plastic. The housing consists of a mounting rail with two throats and a motor which is connected to the throats with quick-release clips. The design allows the motor section to be removed without having to disconnect the ductwork. For AC motors with double windings, the speed is switched in two stages by means of REGUL 2 or COM 2 controllers or by changing the voltage with REB (continuous regulation) or REV (five-stage regulation) controllers.
Installation of the fans is possible in any fan position. The enclosure must not transmit mechanical stresses from the ductwork. A flexible connection to the ductwork must be used.
